Network Administrator

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Network Administrator to join our IT team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the company's network infrastructure. You will ensure that the network operates efficiently, is secure, and meets performance requirements. Additionally, you will be the point of contact for network-related issues and perform regular maintenance and upgrades to optimize the network infrastructure. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain corporate networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections.
• Implement network solutions for improved performance, security, and scalability.
• Monitor network traffic to identify bottlenecks and potential security risks, resolving them proactively.
• Provide IT support for network-related inquiries and troubleshoot issues for end-users.
• Perform backups and ensure robust network security.
• Document network configurations and processes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a network administrator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with network hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, or HP switches and routers.
• Knowledge of network security, including firewalls and encryption techniques.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, or SolarWinds).
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
