System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and motivated System Administrator to join our IT team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT infrastructure. You will ensure that all systems, networks, and servers run smoothly and provide support to end-users for technical issues. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and workstations.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Secure the IT infrastructure by implementing security protocols and backup solutions.
• Provide support to end-users for IT problems and incidents.
• Document systems and processes to ensure efficient IT support and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a system administrator or in a similar role.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers, network infrastructures, and virtualization software (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of network protocols and security standards.
• Experience with cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
